Frequently asked questions
Below you will find some of the questions my clients have asked. If you have any questions that are not covered here, please contact me. I will be pleased to answer any questions you have.
Q. Who will be my coach?
A. I [Brian Chenier] will be your coach.
Q. Is coaching the same as counselling?
A. No. Although many principles of counselling are adopted in life coaching, such as active listening skills and empathy, the focus is on changing your future rather than dwelling on the past.
Q. What will I have to pay?
A. The initial consultation is FREE of any charge or obligation. I will use this session to identify what it is that you can realistically hope to achieve. It will then be up to you if you wish to continue with coaching. Fees will be discussed during this session. A list of fees is available by opening the session details & prices page.
Q. What if I do not want to continue with coaching?
A. You are under no obligation to continue with coaching. The choice to continue or cease is entirely up to you.
Q. Will my coach just say what I want to hear?
A. No. This would not be of any benefit. In fact, there may be times when I may say things that you might not like, but honesty is imperative if you are to move forward.
Q. When will I see the results of coaching?
A. This is dependent on what it is you wish to achieve. Part of my role is to help you set and achieve SMARTER goals. In this way, you can be confident that you will notice results from the first and subsequent sessions.
